Building a better world through financial inclusion
The corporate Head Office of International Personal Finance is based in Leeds and is home to the group operations of the business. As well as responsibility for corporate governance, we work closely with each of our markets, providing support and technical expertise to help deliver our strategy and fulfil our purpose of building a better world through financial inclusion.
Working here
Located in a newly refurbished office close to the centre of Leeds, our office is an inviting and collaborative space that supports hybrid working. Our Social Action Team frequently arranges events, whether that’s a summer BBQ, or an after-work quiz in our amazing collaborative area. There are plenty of opportunities to have fun and spend time with your colleagues after work.
We also have an established Women’s Forum and Wellbeing Working Group who are dedicated to providing the best working environment and support for our people.
Personal development
At IPF, our ambition is that all our people have access to high-quality, relevant development opportunities. We have several globally consistent development programmes that cover the entire organisation, and we are committed to personal development and have employees at all levels on various internal and external programmes to help progress them in their careers.
Current examples include us supporting some of our employees through various Finance accreditations and a further group of employees through a Master’s degree in Management Practice with Manchester University.
We have also partnered with global experts, like LinkedIn Learning and Harvard Business School to provide genuinely best-in-class development materials & experiences for our people. As well as curricula-based development programmes, we also have our Global Leaders Connect programme to develop up-and-coming talent and our new annual IPF Learning Festival, where the entire organisation joins together for a week of focussed development.
Whichever role you join us in, we offer training to help you settle into your new role when you first join us. After that, your manager will work with you to set personal goals and kickstart your development journey.
Areas we recruit into
From apprentices to the CEO, our UK office has roles at all levels. So, whether you’re just starting out in your career or wanting to set and drive the agenda, we may well have an opportunity for you.
Given the nature of what we do, a large proportion of our roles in the UK are in our IT and Finance functions, but we also have functions such as Legal, Credit Risk and HR, all of which are crucial to our business.
