Becky Parkin Palfreyman
Senior Credit Risk Analyst
After graduating from Durham University, I joined IPF in 2016 as a Credit Analyst. I couldn’t quite decide what I wanted to do with my Maths degree but as soon as I interviewed at IPF, I just knew that I wanted to work with the people here. My colleagues are such a massive part of what makes IPF such a great place to work but also the opportunity for development and travel – within the first 6 months of my time at IPF, I was in Budapest and Warsaw delivering specialist training to our market Finance and Credit Directors.
I was promoted to Senior Analyst in 2018 and I’m now responsible for maintaining our Expected Loss models that feed right into our key financial numbers. I love seeing how my work directly impacts the business whilst also getting to work with different levels of staff across the company, right up to board level. IPF has helped me grow so much as a person – I actually look forward to presenting after it filling me with dread for years! The development opportunities never stop, for example, I’m currently having 1-1 career coaching with the Chief People Officer.
IPF are driven by their values and I feel proud to work for them. Did you know that they recently set up shelter accommodation in Poland for women and their children who have fled Ukraine?
