Building a better world through financial inclusion

The IPF Group

What we do

Working here

Our values

  • We are responsible

  • We are respectful

  • We are straightforward

What kind of people do we look for?

  • Focus on customers

  • Be collaborative

  • Inspire each other

Where we operate

The IPF Group serve customers in 9 counties across 3 continents.

Sustainability is vitally important to us

Here’s just a handful of our initiatives

  • During 2021, colleagues in the Czech Republic developed a highly effective campaign highlighting the plight of underprivileged, marginalised and excluded members of society. Extensive research revealed more than 10% of the population are deemed to be “Invisible”.

The campaign highlighted five groups – Young Families, Lone Parents, Shadow Economy Workers, Poor Students and the Experienced but Unemployed. In addition to an extensive media campaign to raise awareness of this issue, the programme focused on building a platform to connect the Invisibles with public institutions and partner NGOs who can provide support. To date, the programme has attracted over 15,000 visitors to its website and 4,500 fans to the dedicated Facebook profile. The next phase will involve engaging more NGOs and public sector stakeholders to endorse the programme.

More media attention and a larger base of partner organisations will be instrumental in aiming for systematic changes which can effectively support the inclusion of the ‘Invisibles’ back into society. Following feedback from colleagues and community partners as part of our purpose engagement work, we are extending this campaign into a global initiative supported by all our markets.

  • Our colleagues in Poland were understandably moved by the refugee crisis that has occurred due to the war in the Ukraine. They wanted to help in any way that they could, and they also wanted to create something that would last for a long time and so the idea for the Mother’s House was born.

So, they set about with their project – to create a refuge for the women and children fleeing the war in Ukraine. They rented a building in a leafy suburb of northern Warsaw and began renovating it. 70 people from our Provident Poland business contributed to more than 400 hours of work over evenings and weekends to make this possible. Colleagues from around the world contributed donations to help make this dream become a reality.

At first, the house will host mothers with children from the Ukraine refugee crisis and, ultimately, it will a shelter for mothers with children from Poland.

As of today, 19 Ukrainian families are now living in the Mother’s Shelter.

  • A green partnership set up in Poland with the social foundation Dotleni.org This assigns a proportion of our sales revenues to planting trees.

IPF team members volunteered to plant saplings and help create a forest of 40,000 trees in the north east of Poland. The trees will produce 5,600 kg of oxygen every 24 hours, equivalent to the demand of around 20,000 people, and will absorb 28,800 kg of CO2 every year. Similar initiatives are taking place in Romania and Hungary.

  • Our IT strategy now includes green computing initiatives to reduce the environmental effect of our operations. The leading light has been the introduction of MyProvi – our agent mobile app. This has digitised the sales and collections service for home credit customers and reduced paper consumption significantly. Switching our data centres to the public cloud will deliver additional environmental benefits due to lower carbon emissions and reduced electricity consumption.
