About the Role
We are currently looking to appoint a Technical Analyst/Technical Product Owner to join our IT team based at our Head Office on Whitehall Road, Leeds, a short walk from Leeds Train Station. The office is a collaborative space supporting hybrid working.

The role will report into the Senior Delivery Manager and focus on shaping and delivering the technical requirements for the Strategic Data Store (SDS) core group systems. Acting as a Proxy Product Owner, you will work closely with technical architects, developers, and testers to implement AWS services and data governance policies, supporting the IT Data strategy and driving operational success.

Your Day-to-Day Activities are Likely to Include the Following:

• Collaborating with IT colleagues and external partners to evaluate and deliver changes through agile development.
• Leading workshops to gather and shape business requirements.
• Acting as a Proxy Product Owner, prioritizing delivery tickets and reporting progress to governance bodies.
• Translating business requirements into system-specific user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, incorporating new features, fixes, and business justifications.
• Providing strategic advice on effective IT solutions, aligning with business needs.
• Coordinating activities across in-country IT and business teams to prepare for change.

What are We Looking For?
Here’s what experience we need from you:

• Deep understanding of AWS services, including S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, and Athena.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Agile delivery expertise, particularly with SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with data governance policies, data security principles, and tools like Snowflake and AWS Glue Data Catalog.
